Baseball Recap: Valley Central Comes Up Short

Cornwall Central hit Valley Central with a four-run third inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Vikings lost 12-2 to the Dragons. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Valley Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Watson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Watson has snagged this season.
