Carlisle has no trouble against St. Margaret's

On Monday, Carlisle strolled past St. Margaret with points to spare, taking the game 70-54.

When it comes to explaining why St. Margaret's lost, one person who can't be blamed is Paula Carrillo. Despite the final result, she scored 18 points. Carrillo has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ilona Syzdek, who scored 13 points.

Carlisle has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for St. Margaret's, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Carlisle will be playing at home against North Cross at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Margaret's road trip will continue as they head out to face Veritas School at 5:30 p.m. on January 18th. Veritas School will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 247th, while St. Margaret's is ranked 123rd).
