After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Montezuma-Cortez, North Fork was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Roaring Fork Rams. This was payback for the Miners, who suffered an 8-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.

North Fork now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Roaring Fork, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

North Fork wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 7-4 victory against Meeker on the 10th. As for Roaring Fork, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-7 loss against Aspen on the 7th.
