After flying high against Cedar Bluff last Thursday, Pleasant Valley came back down to earth. The Raiders fell just short of the Leeds Greenwave by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Pleasant Valley's loss dropped their record down to 25-10. As for Leeds, they pushed their record up to 12-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Pleasant Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-3 win against Beulah on the 11th. As for Leeds, they will venture away from home to square off against Ashville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Greenwave surely won't give up without a fight.
