Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Eagles blew the Cardinals out of the water with a 70-18 final score. Lawter has become a key player for Chesnee: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 3-4 otherwise.

Chesnee was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 341 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Fairfield Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Chesnee, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
