Soccer Recap: Andress Comes Up Short

Andress managed to keep up with Chapin until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Andress Eagles lost 3-0 to the Chapin Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 back in February.

Andress now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Chapin, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Andress will challenge Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Andress' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Chapin, they will face off against Burges at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Burges has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight defeats, while Chapin will come in with three straight wins.
