Meade had to endure a five-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Ashland Blue Jays on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Buffaloes have posted since September 16th.

Meade had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-18, 26-24.

Meade's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Ashland, their loss dropped their record down to 6-16-2.

Meade didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Minneola on the 30th. As for Ashland, they will head out on the road to square off against Satanta on Tuesday.
