Football Game Preview: Smithfield Packers vs. Lafayette Rams + How To Watch

Smithfield is 0-10 against Lafayette since September of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Packers will venture away from home to take on the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Smithfield is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with a 30-22 victory over Warhill. The Packers haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Lafayette's rock-solid defense showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They breezed past Denbigh to the tune of 40-0. Considering the Rams have won nine games by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Smithfield's record now sits at 7-4. As for Lafayette, their record is now 10-1.

Smithfield might still be hurting after the 40-14 defeat they got from Lafayette in their previous matchup back in August. Can the Packers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
