Meanwhile, Hanceville wound up with the same score they had in their last game (8-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The defeat continues a trend for them in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost four in a row.

Hanceville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karrigan Pipkin, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Holly Pond's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Hanceville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8-1.

Holly Pond might still be hurting after the 16-1 defeat they got from Hanceville in their previous meeting on Friday. Can Holly Pond avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
