Volleyball Recap: Brownsburg Wins Going Away Against Illiana Christian

Brownsburg won the last time they faced Illiana Christian and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 2-0. That looming 2-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.

Kilani Jackson paced Brownsburg's offense, picking up six kills. Jackson got some help from Becca Rogers and her 15 assists. Eliza Laughlin and Nadia Cloyd kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Despite the loss, Illiana Christian still got an impressive performance from Ava Bercot, who had ten digs and one assist.

Brownsburg's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Illiana Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brownsburg will host Ben Davis at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Illiana Christian, they will welcome Kankakee Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
