Baseball Recap: Lowry Victorious

Lowry's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Dayton Dust Devils, sneaking past 5-3. This was payback for the Buckaroos, who suffered a 7-5 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Keston Unrein, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Erick Valencia, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Lowry's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-19-1. As for Dayton, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.

Lowry will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Dust Devils: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
