Basketball Recap: Renville County West Takes a Loss

Renville County West lost against Lac qui Parle Valley back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Renville County West Jaguars fell to the Lac qui Parle Valley Eagles 65-59. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Renville County West's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Lac qui Parle Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Renville County West and Lac qui Parle Valley could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. Renville County West will challenge MACCRAY at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 221 places (335 vs. 114). Meanwhile, Lac qui Parle Valley (ranked 294th) will meet Beresford (ranked 68th) at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
