After a string of three wins, Chavez's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hamilton Yankees.

Chavez saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey Uribe, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Uribe is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Chavez's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Hamilton, their record now sits at 9-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chavez will head out to challenge Monroe at 2:30 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Hamilton, they will venture away from home to face off against Marshall at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
