If Tree of Life Christian was feeling good fresh off their 47-12 takedown of Northside Christian last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tree of Life Christian Trojans took a 60-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shekinah Christian Flames. One positive for the Trojans, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shekinah Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Haylee Beachy, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 assists. Beachy is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Nava Showalter was another key player, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten boards.

Tree of Life Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Shekinah Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Tree of Life Christian will welcome Madison Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Shekinah Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against Granville Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Shekinah Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50 points per game this season.
