Softball Recap: Dodge County Wins Going Away Against Central

Dodge County was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Central on Tuesday. The Indians put the hurt on the Chargers with a sharp 9-1 victory. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Emily Jones spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Dodge County got a massive performance out of Rylee Harrell, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriella Robinson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.
