Football Game Preview: Lamoni vs. Mormon Trail

On Friday Lamoni take on Mormon Trail at 7:00 PM. Mormon Trail will need to watch out since Lamoni have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.

Lamoni simply couldn't be stopped last week, as they easily beat Murray 52-16. Lamoni were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-38, which was the final score in Mormon Trail's tilt against East Union.

Lamoni's win lifted them to 1-2 while Mormon Trail's loss dropped them down to 2-1. We'll see if Lamoni's success rolls on or if Mormon Trail are able to steal their positive momentum.
