Northridge proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by 12) but on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged the Roosevelt Roughriders out 5-3. The win was nothing new for the Grizzlies as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Brooke Riofrio spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits.
At the plate, Bailey McGeen was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
