Basketball Recap: Hoover Extends Winning Streak to Four

Hoover had won three straight games and Donovan Brown did his part to make it four on Saturday. The Hoover Huskies simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hampshire Trojans 62-28 thanks in part to Brown, who posted 19 points. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Dane Hatfield, who had 17 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.

Hoover's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Hampshire, they moved to 4-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Hoover will challenge North Marion at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hoover has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 193 points over their last three contests. As for Hampshire, they will welcome Robert C. Byrd at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
