Lakeside Lutheran got themselves on the board against Lake Mills on Thursday, but Lake Mills never followed suit. They put the hurt on the L-Cats with a sharp 9-0 win. Considering the Warriors have won 11 matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Lakeside Lutheran has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.2 runs over those games. As for Lake Mills, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.

Looking ahead, Lakeside Lutheran will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Marshall at 5:00 p.m. As for Lake Mills, they will head out to take on Mount Horeb at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
