Wake Prep Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Shawn Amadike led the charge by putting up 14 points. Amadike continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Josh Bracey was another key player, earning 13 points.

When it comes to explaining why Bunn lost, don't look at Isaac Bailey. Despite the final result, he shot 71% from the field to rack up 26 points and three steals. That was a full 45.6% of the Wildcats' points, marking the third time in a row Bailey has posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of DJ Smith, who went 5-for-7 en route to 17 points.

Wake Prep Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Bunn, they moved to 12-3 with that defeat, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.

Wake Prep Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 36-33 win against American Leadership Academy-Johnston on the 23rd. As for Bunn, they have also already played their next game, an 83-66 victory against Nash Central on the 22nd.
