Softball Recap: Attica Comes Up Short

After flying high against Indiana School for the Deaf on Thursday, Attica came back down to earth. The Red Ramblers lost 17-4 to the North Vermillion Falcons on Saturday. The Red Ramblers were not able to make up for their loss to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Attica saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenzie Goff, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Goff has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played. Naveen Hill was another, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Attica's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for North Vermillion, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Attica beat the Falcons by a score of 10-7 later that day.
