Soccer Recap: South Lake Comes Up Short

If South Lake was feeling good fresh off their 8-2 takedown of Zephyrhills last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The South Lake Eagles came up short against the East Ridge Knights on Tuesday, falling 5-2. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Knights: they've now lost eight in a row.

South Lake now has a losing record at 4-5-3. As for East Ridge, they now have a winning record of 6-5-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Mount Dora the next time they take the pitch. East Ridge will host Mount Dora at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while South Lake will host them at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
