Basketball Game Preview: Holy Spirit Prep Cougars vs. Pinecrest Academy Paladins

Having just played yesterday, the Holy Spirit Prep Cougars will get right back to it and host the Pinecrest Academy Paladins at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Holy Spirit Prep is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 58 points on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Heritage on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Hawks and fell 90-29. The Cougars have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Pinecrest Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 71-56 bruising from The King's Academy.

Holy Spirit Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Pinecrest Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
