Soccer Recap: Central Comes Up Short

If Central was feeling good fresh off their 8-0 takedown of North County on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers came up short against the Poplar Bluff Mules on Friday, falling 4-0. Central were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Poplar Bluff apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

As for Poplar Bluff, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sikeston at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Poplar Bluff are facing Sikeston at the right time seeing as Sikeston are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
