Baseball Recap: Brazos Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Brazos's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Flatonia Bulldogs on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by exactly three runs.

Brazos saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Kuhn, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Brazos has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season. As for Flatonia, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-7-1.

Looking ahead, Brazos will challenge Danbury at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. Flatonia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
