After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Christian Brothers, Memphis University School was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles 1-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-0 last Thursday.

Memphis University School has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-2 record this season. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 11-2-1 Christian Brothers and 10-3 Briarcrest Christian (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 66.7% over those games). As for St. Benedict at Auburndale, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7-1.

Christian Brothers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something St. Benedict at Auburndale surely won't give up without a fight.
