Union Grove and Eagle's Landing are an even 5-5 against one another since August of 2015, but not for long. The Wolverines will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Union Grove comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Things were looking good for Union Grove after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 18-14 to Locust Grove. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 291st, while the Wildcats are ranked 59th).

Meanwhile, it may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Eagle's Landing ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They managed a 30-24 win over Jones County.

Union Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Eagle's Landing, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
