Volleyball Recap: Elgin Takes a Loss

Elgin saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Mundelein Mustangs. The Maroons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elgin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Mundelein, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.

Elgin will take on Streamwood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Sabres will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Maroons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mundelein, they will challenge Proviso West at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday. The Mustangs are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
