Volleyball Game Preview: Classical Academy Caimans vs. Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders + Official Tickets

The Classical Academy Caimans will take on the Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Classical Academy has ten straight victories, Mater Dei Catholic has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Wednesday, Classical Academy got the win against Rock Academy by a conclusive 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-22, 27-25, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Mater Dei Catholic came up short against Bonita Vista on Friday and fell 3-1. While the Crusaders didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Barons 25-13 in the first set.

Mater Dei Catholic started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-20.

Mater Dei Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 21-14. As for Classical Academy, their win bumped their record up to 28-7.

Classical Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Mater Dei Catholic in their previous meeting back in September, winning 2-0. Do the Caimans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Crusaders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
