Braintree let North Quincy stack four runs on them in the third inning on Friday but luckily Braintree prevailed anyway. The Wamps sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over the Raiders. The win continues a trend for the Wamps in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won three in a row.

Braintree's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for North Quincy, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Braintree will venture away from home to challenge Norwood at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for North Quincy, they will square off against Pembroke at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
