While Cherokee didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-9-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They never let the Volunteer Falcons get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Tuesday. The victory was just business as usual for Cherokee, who after seven games remain undefeated this season.

Cherokee pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Volunteer, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Coincidentally, Cherokee and Volunteer will both be playing Grainger the next time they take the pitch. The Chiefs will host the Grizzlies at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Falcons will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
