Basketball Recap: Rylee Hidrogo Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Chester County

While Trinity Christian Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Chester County Eagles on Tuesday as the Trinity Christian Academy Lions made off with a 48-23 win. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 23 points or more this season.

Trinity Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rylee Hidrogo, who posted 11 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Annelise Friend, who put up five points along with five assists and five steals.

Trinity Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28 points. As for Chester County, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Trinity Christian Academy will take on Kenwood in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Chester County and Scotts Hill will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Scotts Hill's defense has only allowed 29.7 points per game this season, so Chester County's offense will have their work cut out for them.
