Smoky Valley had lost seven straight headed into Tuesday's matchup, but Braylon Olson didn't let it get to eight. Everything went the Smoky Valley Vikings' way against the Halstead Dragons on Tuesday as the Smoky Valley Vikings made off with a 67-44 victory with plenty of help from Olson, who went 7-for-11 en route to 22 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Atticus Pavlovich, who posted eight points and three steals. He has become a key player for Smoky Valley: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three steals, but 2-13 otherwise.

Smoky Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Halstead, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-11.

Smoky Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-25 loss against Pratt on the 21st. As for Halstead, they have also already played their next game, a 53-42 defeat against Elyria Christian on the 21st.
