Mission Bay and Helix squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Mission Bay had to settle for second. They lost to the Highlanders on the road by a 27-13 margin. The Buccaneers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Helix found their leader in sophomore Nikayla Domingo, who picked up 64 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Mission Bay's loss dropped their record down to 15-11-1. As for Helix, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Mission Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Helix, they will challenge Mira Mesa at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Marauders will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Highlanders surely won't give up without a fight.
