Mollyann Runyon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That stolen base was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendra Bostwick, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.
Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Waverly, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-12 record.
