Volleyball Recap: Wasatch Academy Tigers vs. Green River Pirates
Wasatch Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Green River Pirates.
The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 25-16.
Rosa Barragan went supernova for Green River, getting 20 digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Barragan a new career-high.
Wasatch Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Green River, their record is now 3-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wasatch Academy will head out to challenge Altamont at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Green River, they will head out on the road to face off against Pinnacle at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
