Cypress Ranch got themselves on the board against Cypress Park on Tuesday, but Cypress Park never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 16-0 win. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Cypress Park's batters probably weren't too happy with Layla Gallardo, who pitched a no hitter and racked up seven Ks (she gave up a single walk).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Naomi Walker, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Crowl, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Cypress Ranch always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .739. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Cypress Ranch pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Cypress Park, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Cypress Ranch wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-9 victory against Waller on the 4th. As for Cypress Park, they have also already played their next matchup, a 15-0 loss against Bridgeland on the 4th.
