Volleyball Recap: Fellowship Christian Paladins vs. Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots
Fellowship Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots. The Paladins were not able to make up for their defeat to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18.
Several Paladins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Maggie Moore, who had 11 digs and two aces. Ella Hasner was another key player, getting 12 digs and one assist.
Mount Pisgah Christian found their leader in sophomore Emily Childress, who had 16 digs and one assist.
Fellowship Christian's loss dropped their record down to 27-11. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won 21 of their last 26 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-14 record this season.
Fellowship Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Mount Vernon on the 1st. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Northview at 5:00 p.m.
