Salesianum blew Newark Charter School out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Newark Charter School got their revenge. The Sallies fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Sallies have suffered since May 13, 2024.

Meanwhile, Mt. St. Michael Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Peter's.

Salesianum's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Mt. St. Michael Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Salesianum took their win against Mt. St. Michael Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sallies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
