Football Game Preview: North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays vs. Winamac Warriors

North Judson-San Pierre is 8-2 against Winamac since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bluejays will take on the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. North Judson-San Pierre will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

While North Judson-San Pierre's victory against Triton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bluejays had just enough and edged out the Trojans 10-7.

North Judson-San Pierre's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Evan Mcgowen, who rushed for 114 yards and one score. Those 114 rushing yards gave Mcgowen a new career-high.

Mcgowen was just one part of a punishing run game: North Judson-San Pierre was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 216 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 216 rushing yards in five consecutive games.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 14-14 at halftime, Winamac was not quite North Miami's equal in the second half on Friday. They were dealt a 44-14 loss at the hands of North Miami. Winamac has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Judson-San Pierre's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Winamac, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything came up roses for North Judson-San Pierre against Winamac in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 48-6 win. In that contest, the Bluejays amassed a halftime lead of 41-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
