Westminster Christian Academy is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Centerville just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 54-39 bruising from the Bulldogs. The game marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

While Hanson Memorial didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 52-39 win over Erath on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Hanson Memorial pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Westminster Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.
