Baseball Game Preview: Concord Raiders vs. Archmere Academy Auks

Concord is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitchers stepped up to hand McKean an 18-0 shutout on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Raiders with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Archmere Academy made easy work of First State Military Academy on Tuesday and carried off a 14-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Auks in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won seven in a row.

Concord's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Archmere Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Concord came out on top in a nail-biter against Archmere Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-1.
