Basketball Game Preview: Claude Mustangs vs. Shamrock Irish

Claude hasn't had much luck against Shamrock recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Claude Mustangs will head out to square off against the Shamrock Irish at 7:30 p.m. Shamrock took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Claude, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Claude made easy work of Lefors and carried off a 60-40 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, Shamrock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-37 heartbreaker at the hands of Groom.

Shamrock's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Claude, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.

Claude strolled past Shamrock in their previous meeting back in November of 2023 by a score of 38-22. Does Claude have another victory up their sleeve, or will Shamrock turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
