Summit Christian Academy came tearing into Thursday's game with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Marshall Owls by a score of 6-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2022.

Summit Christian Academy pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Marshall, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
