Spring Creek has gone 9-0-1 against West Wendover recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Spartans will look to defend their home pitch against the Wolverines at 3:45 p.m. Spring Creek is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Spring Creek will bounce into Friday's match after beating Elko, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Spartans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Indians on Thursday. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Spring Creek were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, West Wendover's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. Neither they nor Elko could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time West Wendover have been dealt a draw since back in September.

Spring Creek's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. West Wendover's draw makes their record 7-9-3 this season.
