Softball Recap: Wheaton Has No Trouble Against Billings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Purdy, Wheaton was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 15-7 margin over the Billings Wildcats. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by eight runs or more this season.

Wheaton now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Billings, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.

Billings wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-7 loss against Hurley on the 25th. Hopefully Wheaton paid attention to the Wildcats' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats on Friday.
