Volleyball Recap: Concord Comes Up Short

Concord lost against Berean Christian on March 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Concord fell 3-1 to Berean Christian.

Concord started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-13, 25-19, 25-22.

Scott Bliss paced Concord's offense, picking up 12 kills. Bliss got some help from Levi Serrano and his 20 assists.

Concord has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. Berean Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concord will face off against Ygnacio Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Concord is facing Ygnacio Valley at the right time seeing as Ygnacio Valley is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Berean Christian, they will challenge Alhambra at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
