Basketball Recap: Mt. Lebanon Comes Up Short

Mt. Lebanon lost against Upper St. Clair back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils fell 41-31 to the Upper St. Clair Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Panthers are ranked 13th).

Mt. Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Upper St. Clair, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Lebanon will head out to face off against Peters Township at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Upper St. Clair, they will head out on the road to square off against Baldwin at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
