It was a Battle of the Birds when Menominee Nation took on Amherst on Thursday. The Eagles walked away with a 59-50 win over the Falcons. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Falcons back in December of 2025, they had to take a 63-53 defeat.

Menominee Nation is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points over those games. As for Amherst, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Menominee Nation will take on rival Bonduel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Amherst is set to square off against their familiar foe Shiocton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
