Bingham and Corner Canyon are an even 4-4 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Bingham Miners will host the Corner Canyon Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bingham knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Corner Canyon likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, it was close, but Bingham sidestepped Mountain Ridge for a 71-68 victory. Given the Miners' advantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Sentinels are ranked 45th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Corner Canyon had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They took down the Silverwolves 76-62.

Bingham pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points over those games. As for Corner Canyon, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.

Bingham came out on top in a nail-biter against Corner Canyon in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 66-63. Does Bingham have another victory up their sleeve, or will Corner Canyon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
